This is a self-monitored system: it alerts you and the people you choose, and there is no monthly monitoring fee. If you need a certified monitoring station on the line, for an insurer for example, tell us during the survey and we will say plainly what we can and cannot do.

Will the siren still sound if the internet is down?
Yes. Arming, the sensors, the sirens and the lighting rules all run on the controller in the house. A break-in during an outage still trips the alarm and still sounds the sirens, inside and out. Only the push notification to your phone waits for the connection to come back.
How do I know what set the alarm off?
Every alarm event arrives with a camera clip attached, so the notification shows what tripped it instead of only telling you that something did. It names the sensor and the time. You can see from your phone whether it needs a response, and the sirens and the lights have already done their part.
Can the alarm arm itself when the last person leaves?
Yes. Home, Away and Night modes can be armed from a keypad, from your phone, or on their own when the house empties. Entry and exit delays are set to suit the doors you actually use. Alarm notifications go to the phones you choose, and you can change which ones later yourself.
