The sensor reports to the controller and the controller decides, so the rule behaves the same way every time and nobody waits for an app. Adaptive colour temperature is used where it matters.

Yes. Outdoor and landscape lighting runs on dusk-to-dawn and presence rules held on the controller, so it follows the season without anyone resetting a timer. Indoor scenes cover the ordinary cases the same way: evening, cooking, reading and away.

Yes. Lighting comes on when the alarm does, inside and out, because both run on the same controller. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are tied in the same way, so an alarm at night turns on the lights and unlocks the exit doors instead of leaving you in the dark.
